Our Process
When you’ve made the decision to partner with us as the contractor for your project, we treat your project as ours. We want it done right, within your budget and a reasonable timeframe. We prioritize your project in the hours you’ve scheduled us.
In-House Kitchen Measurement and Consultation
If you book us for design services, you’re on the first path to ensuring as smooth of a process as possible for your kitchen install. We will make measurements and discuss your family’s needs and wants. Once it’s done, we can provide you with a 3d design, a list of parts, and a quote for $200…or get it all for free if you book your kitchen installation with us.
- Give us a call to discuss your project (alternatively, you can send a request through the One-Stop Shop). We can give a ballpark estimate based on your description of the project and/or pictures, but will need to visit to offer a written quote.
- A site visit will give us more details and allow us to write a written quote. The site visit cost will be deducted from the total invoice should you choose to go with us for the project.
- We will give a quote based on the existing work as present on site. Unforeseen issues will be billed at an hourly rate, but we will communicate all of these with you beforehand–we don’t want anything but pleasant surprises coming your way. Additional requests to the quote will incur extra charges.
- We can work with an existing kitchen plan, though there might be additional design costs in case of an incomplete/inaccurate plan or if changes are requested.
- Otherwise, we will start by planning out the kitchen of your dreams! You’ll let us know what you have in mind, especially if you’re thinking of changing up the arrangement of your existing kitchen. This includes countertop, appliance, and cabinet options.
- Drawing on our design team’s engineering and construction expertise, we will use software that most closely matches your project’s requirements–we’re versed in AutoCAD, Sketchup, IKEA Kitchen Planner, and more!
- We will draw up a design based on your specifications and rewrite the quote if there are any changes during this stage. The purpose of this stage is to allow both you to visualize your new kitchen and give our techs a work plan to follow. If you change your mind about the design, now is the time to voice it out! Making changes when work has started can be costly, and the original quote won’t always apply if there are multiple changes to the scope of work.
- Plan out when work can be done at your convenience, and we will block out our schedule for your project.
- You will be responsible for purchasing all materials necessary for the project and making sure they’re on site on the day we begin. Alternatively, you can authorize us to pick them up and deliver to your site for a fee.
- Once we’ve started on your project, you will receive a report for every day we’re on site, along with progress pictures and videos to ensure we’re on the right track.
